How To Remove Apps from Your Facebook Account

facebook_logoDo you need to remove apps from your Facebook account? Maybe you’ve clicked on a rogue app like one of the ‘Look Who’s Viewing My Profile’ apps and need to get rid of it? It happens to the best of us, but you should know that just deleting the posts isn’t enough. Rogue apps and apps we don’t use anymore have permission to access information from our Facebook accounts – and sometimes our friends’ accounts. This video shows the steps you need to take to remove, or revoke permission from, an app in order to protect your information.

I’m pleased to present my very first how-to video! It is FAR from perfect, so excuse the rough edges, but it has some very valuable information that will help you – and your friends – stay safe on Facebook by removing apps that have access to your (and sometimes your friends’) personal information. In conjunction with your Privacy Settings, removing rogue or unused apps will keep your information safe.
